OBIORA MADU

Mr. Obiora Madu is the Chief Executive Officer and Programme Director of Multimix Academy. He spent about a decade on the Export Desk of two major export banks in Nigeria and was a member of the pioneer team that developed most of the export financing products and instruments that are generally used by most banks in Nigeria today.

He is popularly called Mr. Export because of his total commitment to the improvement of standards in export practice and management in Nigeria.

In 1999, he was a recipient of the prestigious Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Gold Award for his contribution to international trade development within the sub-region.

Madu, who is the only representative of the International Import/Export Institute based in Arizona, United States in Africa attained the highest Certification of the Institute a Certified International Trade Educator (CITE) in 2002. He is a fellow of the institute of Export of Nigeria, a member of Logistics Society of Nigeria, chartered member of Chattered Institute of Logistics and Transport, member International Association of Trade Training Organization and foundation Registrar & Chief Executive of Institute of International Business and Logistics (Limited Gtee.).

Madu was also recently appointed a member of the Steering Committee for the African Network of International Purchasing and Supply Chain Management programme of the International Trade Centre the United Nations Arm in Geneva.

Madu is the Author of several manuals and publications in addition to two books on international trade-EXPORTING-Frequently asked questions and EXPORT FINANCING both published by Multimix Export Academy.
